About Woody Woodland
Woody began his career in broadcasting back in 1973 doing play-by-play for local high school and college sports teams in Pennsylvania. Then in 1979, Woody relocated to New Hampshire where he continued his broadcasting career doing a variety of news, sports, sports-talk and political talk. As a matter for fact Woody once co-hosted a sports-talk show with Johnny Most, legendary announcer for the Boston Celtics.
Woody has served up his own brand of entertaining and informative talk programming for the past 20 years. His show touches on a wide range of topics, covering both local and national politics, historical subjects, sports (with a focus on local high school and college sports teams) and the hot issues of the day. Woody will have a variety of guests join his show each week adding their input on subjects of interest to our listeners. All views are welcome on his program and callers are encouraged to speak their mind. Woody looks forward to providing Southern New Hampshire and the listeners of WKBR a new and refreshing perspective in talk radio.
